Project: Partizan, Kapoš Municpality, Skopje (January-Present)
Cultural Echoes in collaboration w/ the Municipality of Karpoš; French Embassy of North Macedonia, Veterans Sports Assotication, Macedonian Sport Shooting Federation, Association Amitié France-Macédoine, Architect Trajko Dimitrov
The building was a donation from the French government to rebuild Skopje after the devastating earthquake of 1963. In 1969, the Sports Hall ‘Naum Naumovski-Borce’ (commonly known as ‘Partizan’) was built, with the desing of prominent architect Trajko Dimitrov. Today, 50 years later, Partizan is left in a state of aboslute abandonement. Leaving to memory what once was a widely used facility that served the community.

In April, I went to the site w/ Municipality of Karpoš Officials, Macedonian Sport Shooting Federation, Amitié France-Macédoine and Sport Veterans Association, Architect Mateus Sartori and other memebers from Cultural Echoes.
As Cultural Echoes, we agreed to offer architectural projects for the revitalization of the Partizan Sports Hall and give solutions to the existing problematic.

On the 27th of May, Cultural Echoes Collegues and I met w/ Mayor Bogoev; Central Govt Representatives; Sports Advisor Daniel Dimeski; President of the Shooting Federation, Vladimir Pandovski and Director of the PE Sport Management, Spend Hajredini. Cultural Echoes presented two proposals to be made public.
I presented a proposal for the revitalization of the Partizan Sports Hall, working with Architect Mateus Sartori, backed by AART.

We are currently waiting for expropiation of the property to be resolved. We hope to have the Municipal Goverment make our project proposals public soon for the community to evaluate.
We are eager to make Partizan alive again.

Collaboration with Gazi Baba Municipality, Ne Bidi Gjubre and Red Cross.
Volunteer efforts achieved removing hazardous materials from the premise and disposing them acordingly. The Chento Theater is now safely accessible. A panel discussion was organized to raise awareness.

Simona Dimkovska, in representation of Cultural Echoes exposed the current plans to turn the historical Kuprom Factory into high-end residential buildings in an area with high need for quality public infrastructure.
We propose instead to put a moratorium on the plot and advocate to place the property under the proctection of Heritage Laws. Aiming to create the first Industrial Heritage Protection Law in North Macedonia.
