I drew the apartment my family built and lived in when they migrated from rural Spain to Nou Barris, Barcelona.
Abuelo, Abuela, Félix, Ismael, Joaquín, Teodora and my Father lived in the apartment.
They had a cow in the ground floor and sold milk. They lived from working in Construction.
That was my Father’s apartment when he studied Architecture.
Over the next decades, they witnessed their neighboorhood receive an energy and water supply. The streets became paved, public transport connected the rest of the city, libraries and cultural centers emerged.
